Leave the studio and book a landscape portrait. We’ll head outdoors and capture your personality in the places you love. What could be a better backdrop than Cornwall itself?

From sweeping sands to rugged cliffs, there are plenty of perfect backgrounds in St Ives. We can also travel deeper into Cornwall, to wild Bodmin Moor or the pretty harbours on The Lizard. If you have a best-loved beach or favourite view, I’d love to hear about it.

We’ll have a chat and choose a background together. Is there somewhere that means something to you, or do you simply love the light and colours of a particular spot?

And it’s about you, not just the landscape. How do you want to look? What part of your personality do you want to bring forwards? We’ll talk about you, too.

This is Cornwall, and there might be a drop or two of rain… However, rough weather has its own beauty and can actually help create wonderfully evocative images. (If it’s miserably wet and blowing a hooley, don’t worry - we’ll reschedule.)

‍So, you are down here on holiday: welcome! I’ve lived here for nearly twenty years and I’m still in awe of Cornwall’s beauty. I completely  understand why so many people come down here for a holiday. 

Beautiful sweeping beaches, high cliff tops overlooking the sea. Stunning rock formations, wide open skies and wooded areas to get lost in. With this on our doorstep, why would we ever want to have a portrait taken in a studio?

The idea behind “Portraits in Cornwall” is to use Cornwalls natural beauty as a backdrop to your portrait. You can choose where you want your portrait to be taken and we’ll go there to capture you against the backdrop of your favourite scenery.

We’ll have an initial conversation about your chosen location, what to wear and also what to expect on the day (I promise, it will be fun!).

After the photoshoot, I’ll send you a link to a private gallery for you to see all the wonderful photographs. You’ll also have the option of ordering prints or creating “Wall Art”, so that you can hang your beautiful new photograph at home: a perfect memento of your Cornish holiday.
