As artists, it’s all too easy to become immersed in our work and forget the nitty-gritty stuff. However, if a magazine or gallery wants our details (usually with very little notice), it’s best to be prepared with a professional portrait photograph.
I used to work as an editorial photographer, and trust me, ready-to-go, high-quality photography will always give you the edge.
This image needs to be visually strong and tell the story of the kind of artist you are. A typical headshot won’t do you and your art justice. I can come to your studio or favourite spot and capture you as you work. Some packages include wider shots of your studio and your art as well as portrait shots.
I know, I know … you may not want to have your portrait taken, but it really is important these days. I’ve photographed many artists, photographic sessions that I always enjoy as we usually have a lot in common. (Take a look at my testimonials from artists who back this up).
This will be a relaxed session in your studio. I’ll take a number of portraits of you in your space, a reflection of you. I’ll also photograph you working, including details of your studio: a snapshot of your practice in a very relaxed way, people love seeing this, an artist at work.
This is a chance to reflect how the Cornish landscape influences you as an artist. As above, we’ll still spend time in your studio, before venturing out into the beautiful wilds of Cornwall to capture you in this most evocative place. You can choose the location, perhaps somewhere that inspires and reflects your work.
"He listened to my requirements and worked with me to get the look I wanted. I would definitely recommend his services."
